Customer portal

A customer portal is built into Collitracker. In this feature, it is possible for  users to manage and improve their interactions with customers.

RFID

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, in Dutch it is also called Radio Frequency Identification. It is a technology that uses electromagnetic fields to identify and track tags attached to objects. These tags contain electronically stored information that can be read remotely using an RFID reader. RFID is widely used for various applications such as tracking inventory in shops, managing access control in buildings and tracking goods in supply chains. It is a versatile technology with a wide range of applications because of its efficiency and ease of data collection and object tracking.

IOT

IoT stands for the Internet of Things, or the Internet of Things. It refers to the network of physical objects (things) embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity, allowing them to communicate and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet. These objects can range from household appliances such as smart thermostats and refrigerators to industrial machines, vehicles and even clothes with built-in sensors. IoT offers numerous opportunities for collecting data, optimising processes and creating new services and experiences, but also brings challenges in terms of security, privacy and interoperability.

API links

Application programming interface (API) links enable different software applications to communicate with each other and exchange data. An API defines the way different software components can interact with each other. An API link allows a programme (or application) to access the functionality or data of another programme, usually via the Internet.

For example, imagine you have an e-commerce website and you want to integrate payment processing. You can use an API link to connect to the payment provider. This way, your website can send payment information to the payment provider, which then processes it and sends the results back to your website. All this happens seamlessly without the user having to leave the website.

API links are widely used in all kinds of applications, from social media integration to location data sharing, as they enable interoperability between different software applications.

Digital waybill

A digital CMR consignment note is an electronic version of the conventional CMR consignment note, used in international road transport to record the contract between the carrier and the consignor of goods.

The CMR (Convention Relative au Contrat de Transport International de Marchandises par Route) is an international treaty that governs the rights and obligations of the parties to the international carriage of goods by road. It includes, inter alia, information on the shipper, the carrier, the consignee, the nature of the goods and any special instructions or requirements for transportation.

A digital CMR waybill is an electronic document that has the same legal value as the paper document. It can be created, sent, and received in electronic form, making the process more efficient and reducing paper usage. This digital version can be generated and stored using special software or platforms that comply with legal requirements and standards for electronic documents in the relevant jurisdiction.

Loading and unloading module

With the loading and unloading module, for example, a transporter can easily indicate what he is coming to unload, but also immediately what he can load. The customer is immediately informed of the loading/unloading action by e-mail with a comprehensive report.

The planner can see the trucks driving on a map. By clicking on a truck, it is immediately clear what is loaded in the body and how many positions are still available. One can work with positions, load metres, cubic metres or other quantities.

GPS Tracker

A GPS tracker is a device that uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the exact location of an object or person and then transmits this information to a receiver or stores it for later use.

Typically, a GPS tracker consists of a GPS module to receive signals from satellites that determine position, a processor to process the location data, memory to store information and a communication module to send the data to a central server, mobile app or other device.

GPS trackers are widely used for various applications, including:

GPS trackers provide an effective way to track objects and people, improving efficiency, increasing security and better managing valuable assets.
